I heart Utah . . . . .

Utah decided to change it's tax rates mid-stream last year. Screwed a lot of people. Needless to say, we owe the state more than we got in a refund from the Feds. Conveniently I have a box of checks that I only use to send lunch money to school with the kids. Sending the state about a dozen checks that all add up to the amount due is going to turn my frown upside down. Guess it's my way of breaking a plate.

I'll let you complain this time because you voted. You did vote, didn't you?

On the glass half-full side, aren't you glad that you made so much money that you have to pay taxes? (Sorry, I buddhized today.)

More withholdings, more babies or more tithing are all better alternatives than a dozen checks.

But the breaking a plate is always good...

We got a killer refund because of all our babies (oh and our Idaho grocery tax refund) and just think, next year there will be even one more. Aren't you sad you don't get to do this anymore??
